Preciosa Wedding Finery Projects
We have some great Preciosa wedding finery projects for you. These designs are easy to make using easily available seed beads and other Czech glass beads. They’re also very versatile – just change the colour to create your own version suitable for all sorts of occasions. These free Preciosa projects can all be downloaded from our website.
These pretty bracelets are easy to make. Traditional Czech glass beads like fire-polished beads and pinch beads work well. Crystal or silver-lined seed beads add sparkle and subtle contrast. Wear the bracelets individually or stack them together. They would also make pretty wedding favours.
The 5x7mm pip beads are ideal for wedding jewellery as they make a lovely flower shape. You can then use these versatile flowers to make accessories such as a pretty pair of earrings or hair clips.
Try creating a delicate hairband using the pips and larger engraved pips to make pretty flower designs on a headband. Other shapes that are good for creating a flower theme are the 2-hole round candy beads and daggers.
You can also create a lovely versatile seed bead “ribbon”.
Try using some of the beautiful 2-hole beads to create glamourous jewellery. This gorgeous bracelet uses the 6x8mm 2-hole oval candy beads, fire-polished beads and silver-lined seed beads..
You can also create your own beaded buttonhole. The Everlasting Boutonniere project shows you how to bead the leaf and the twisted wire technique used to make the spray of flowers.
Finally, Preciosa have a suggestion to create a simple but effective decoration using small white or crystal beads and drops. The thread can then, for example, be used to decorate a table or a floral display.
